How to use saffron in stigmas

Quantity
For saffron risotto for 4 people the ideal dose for a rich dish is 0.15 grams, about 70 stigmas that, chopped with your fingers, are equivalent to about half a teaspoon.
To flavor other foods you need to rely on, taking as an example the necessary dose for the risotto, the sapidity and quantity of the ingredients of the recipe and your personal tastes.

Process
Method 1
Place chopped saffron in a small bowl with little hot liquid (broth, milk, water …) and let it infuse at least 1 hour. To keep the temperature warm up to the bain-marie with a very low flame. Pay attention to the level of the infusion fluid, add if it dries too much and keep the container covered.
Method 2
Place chopped saffron in a small bowl with little cold liquid (broth, milk, water …) and let it infuse one night.

To keep the properties of the saffron unaltered add the infusion to the recipe at the end of cooking.
